I just bought this cd yesterday and already know the solo. First of all this is an awesome cd. The solo isn't actually that hard. It is basically just some sort of fast picking and some hit ons and some pull offs. So here is the solo tab for caught in the rain. Before the actual solo the guitarist first does a pickscrape up the neck. The actual solo goes like this.

The very last note you keep picking and gradually bending until it hits the note that the 17th fret is. Then he slides the note down. After you hear the song a couple of times you will understand what I'm saying. The effects on the solo I'm not sure about. I now it has some sort of echo. I have a Digitech RP-200. On it I use the pedal titled solo. Well, I hope you enjoy learning and playing this solo.
