Burning Flame
By: Vitamin Z
Guitar riff: Am F G (2X)
Am Dm G
Walking out tonight, In the street lights I can see you,
Am F Am Dm G
Arm in arm with just another guy, You look at me and wave hello, how friendly
Am F Am
I look at you and the cars go passing by.
C G F C F G F Dm
I understand that you used to love me, Nothing much but it made you cry
C G F C F G F Dm
So here we are making pleasant gestures, And I just can't see the reason why
Am Dm G Am F G Am
Me and you we never made it far girl, Now I laugh at the promises we made
Am F G Am
And something went, The first time that I hurt you
Am F Am
The lights went out, And the memories start to fade.
C G F C F G F
And all along on my trip to nowhere, You annoyed me with your foolish games
C G F C F G F Dm
And how you teased when I first made love, And I'm left so naked like a burning flame
F Dm F Dm
Burning flame, burning flame.

One of my fave song in the 80’s while its a chord intensive song, it’s really
enjoyable to play. It’s purely from ear’s perspective as I couldn’t find any
chords for this song anywhere. I would appreciate any comment or ways to improve
the chords from experts out there. Enjoy.
