Forest Whitaker - Bad Books
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Lance Gould
E-mail: illgouldo@gmail.com
Tuning: Standard - I believe this is a half step higher than the original
Arranged for one guitar. You can sing along to this version
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------12---10--12--13--12-----10--------------------|
G|----------9--12--9--12----------------------12-----9\\7--------------|
D|---------10----------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---///8--let-ring----------------------------------------------------|
start by sliding up the low E with your index finger to the 8th, then make a barre chord
shape. Hold that shape and hit the 12's on the g and b strings with your pinky. move
your index finger down to hit the 10 on the b string. the 12 and 13 fall naturally into
place, but when you hit the 12 on the g string, you wanna use your pinky. by doing this you
hit the 10 again with your middle finger allowing your index finger to be free to hit
the 9 and slide down to 7. Do this twice before the first verse and once before the second.
Verse:
C Em F G

This is the first and second verses. Strumming is approximate. You'll get the idea. On
the third verse, just strum C,Em,F,G once each and let ring during the first two lines of
it. when it starts in on "...you say you're good", start strumming again
Chorus:
F G C B/C Am G
