This might help people who hate doing bar chords (like me), and don't mind dropping a
step to achieve a song easily. I also like the heartier sound that playing without a capo
sounds a little more rich. The chords basically go CC GG AmAm FF, C G Am F, C G CC
Special thanks to the original tabber who set the song up (I just went through and
the chords with my -slightly- easier ones.
Tuning is half step down:
C
All of these lines across my face
G
Tell you the story of who I am
Am
So many stories of where I've been
F
And how I got to where I am
C
But these stories
G
don't mean anything
Am F
When you've got no one to tell them to
C G C
It's true....I was made for you

Swam all across the ocean blue

I crossed all the lines and I broke all the rules
F
But baby I broke them all for you

Because even when I was flat broke
Am F
You made me feel like a million bucks
C G C
Yeah you do, and I was made for you
C <--(back to fingerpicking)
You see the smile that's on my mouth
G
It's hiding the words that won't come out
Am
And all of my friends who think that I'm blessed
F
Well they don't know my head is a mess
C <--(strumming) G
No they don't know who I really am
Am F C
And they don't know what I've been through, but you do
G C
And I was made for you
C <---(hair is on fire again)
All of these lines across my face
G
Tell you the story of who I am
Am
So many stories of where I've been
F
And how I got to where I am
C
But these stories
G
don't mean anything
