Here's a rather famous Springsteen song. I like this one because it can
be played at many different tempos. I especially like the acoustic version
on the Live album. Enjoy.
The words may not all be completely correct and I don't put the key changes
over the exact syllable, so sorry. I know one line isn't transcribed
correctly, so if anyone has a clue, even if in another key, let me know!!
thanks.

(if anyone knows better chords to that last line, let me know!!!)
There were ghosts in the eyes of all the boys you sent away
They drive this dusty beach road in the skeleton frames of
burned-out Chevrolets
They scream your name at night in the street
Your graduation gown lies in rags at their feet
And in the lonely cool before dawn you hear their engines roaring on
Until you get to the porch, they're gone on the wind so Mary climb in
It's a town full of losers and we're pulling out of here to win
OK, some wierd chords here.

This file was originally posted by Teri Tracey (teri@sdd.hp.com); she wrote out
the lyrics and most of the chords. I have inserted the missing verse, changed it
into the correct key, and changed a few chords.
Capo 3: Play in D; actually in F.
