Hey there! This is my first tab, so there might be a few errors. Plus I had to figure
this out based on mobile phone recordings of the live (and only) version, so it wasn't easy!

This is the song that Chord Overstreet wrote and performed live at The Roxy on July 13th
2013. His original song, he dedicated to Cory Monteith. I love them both, and wanted to
help people learn this amazing, albeit sad song.
RIP, Cory.

Don't know if this section makes sense, but just play around with it, tweaking a C chord
with your pinky on the 3rd fret, second string. Good luck!

CAPO ON 2nd
(INTRO)
C - C - C - C
(VERSE 1)
C
Running out, out of space
Searching for a new hiding place
Where I can escape
Someone to run to
And leave behind memories
And pictures framed of you
(PRE-CHORUS I)
Am F
Now it may be hard to sleep at night
C G
But I just close my eyes and wait for the light
(CHORUS I)
C
There’s a war going on
G
Hits me deep in my bones
Am
I can still struggle now
F
From just being alone
C
Well it’s another heartache
G
If you’ve been through it breaking
Am G F
There’s never a love like before
Am
And you can cry if you want

F G C - C - C - C
But it’s not going to stop this war
(VERSE 2)
C
What would you say
If i take you back
What would you say
If i forgave you for that
In a moment of weakness
I could see you play it out
But you didn’t lose a love again
I’ll tell you that now
(PRE-CHORUS II)
Am F
It’s better than the silence of being alone
C G
The risk in the nights you spend sleeping by the phone
(CHORUS II)
C
There’s a war going on
G
Hits me deep in my bones
Am
I can still struggle now
F
From just being alone
C
Well it’s another heartache

If you’ve been through it breaking
Am G F
There’s never a love like before
