Just listen to the song a whole bunch of times and you'll see how the
changes I wrote come together. It's actually quite easy. The single notes
before a chord is when it goes dah and then the chord so they are played
close together.

I learned this song listening to the CD (at my roomate Jay's request)
so it is pretty much as is. You can play it with normal tuning, or
you can drop the D down to an E if you prefer.
This tab is in normal tuning, I guess since I am lazy, it's easier -
and sounds the same. If you drop the D, the refrain will have to
be a little different, maybe just play the bass line part.

In a boys dream
In a boys dream.
Touch your lips just so I know
In your eyes, love, it glows so
I'm bare-boned and crazy for you
When you come crash in to me, baby
And I come into you
I am boys dream
In a boys dream
If I've gone overoard
Then I'm beggin you to forgive me
In my haste
When I'm holding you so girl...
close to me
Oh and you come crash into me, baby
And I come into you
Hike up your skirt a little more and show your world to me
Hike up your skirt a little more and show your world to me
In a boys dream.... in a boys dream
Oh I watch you there through the window
And I stare at you
Your wear nothing buy you wear it so well
Tied up and twisted, the way I'd like to be
For you, for me, come crash into me

Ok! I seen some of the already posted versions and none really tell you
much. So here's how ive seen Dave play it live. ****hint leave pinky and
ring finger stationary on the 5th fret of the B string and 4th of the G
string while strumming. Move middle and index finger to appropriate bass
notes.

if that gives you any trouble simply play the bass notes to figure the rhythm
out then its just a matter of getting the strumming pattern down.
another part in the song, i wouldn't really call it the chorus, but anyway it
goes like this...

Dave Matthews Band - Crash Into Me
------------------
Transcribed by Nate Kohl
This is a pretty simple song to play alone acoustically, with more or
less the same chord progression throughout the song:
E-|--0------0-----0-----0-----0----0----0----0-------
b-|--0------0-----0-----0-----0----0----0----0-------
g-|--6------2-----4-----1----------2----4----1-------
d-|--6------2-----4-----2-----6----2----4----2-------
a-|--4------0-----2-----2-----6----0----2----2-------
e-|---------------------0-----4--------------0-------
The above chords are all you need to play it...Of course, there are
some minor deviations, and a bunch of added instruments and effects.
Get a band together if you want to hear the real thing!
In terms of strumming, here is a tab that should help to get close
to the real thing:
E-|------0--0-------0------0--0-----
B-|------0--0-------0------0--0-----
G-|--6----------2-------4-----------
D-|--6----------2-------4-----------
A-|--4----------0-------2-----------
E-|---------------------------------
Listen to the CD to see what I mean.

Commentary:
After reading the rest of the tab that's been posted for
this song, I think I've found what is most likely the _real_
tab. Or, rather, to my ears, it sounds more like the album version.
I will admit that it's quite a finger exercise to try to
play this, but if you can make the distance, you find that
it's also easier to play this at the correct speed than it
is to play the others, as there's less sliding about.

This is such a great song to play. I saw that all of the other
tab. for this song didn't seem quite right, so I decided to devote
myself to learning right. This is my version of the song and I hope it
is right, if not then could someone please help me?
