Stand Up (For It) - Dave Matthews Band
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed By : John

Tuning: Standard
It's pretty obvious where the bass comes in, and the line is just 2 G's. It might
be 3 G's sometimes, but that could just be the bass drum I'm hearing.
G|--------|
D|--------|
A|--------|
E|--3--3--|
After a while, the bass will follow the guitar. The guitar tab on this site
is wrong, so follow this one. At the end, he will either hit the to solid G's
or he will hit an F higher up and one G following it. I'll put in both notes,
and you can alternate whenever. You'll see what I'm talking about.

G|--------------------|
D|-----5-3-2-------3--|
A|-----------5-3-5----|
E|--3--------------3--|
The last G/F and the first G are played in the same spots as the first riff.
The bridge that lacks words is pretty easy. He just plays with the 5th and octave
of 4 different chords. Sometimes he will play them in a different order, but he
sticks to these notes. This is the usual pattern:
G|--------8---8--|--------5---5--|---------------|---------------|
D|------8---8----|------5---5----|--------8---8--|--------5---5--|
A|--6-6----------|--3-3----------|------8---8----|------5---5----|
E|---------------|---------------|--6-6----------|--3-3----------|
I'm surprised at the lack of improving on Lessard's part, he usually improvs
through every song. This one he sticks to these lines pretty well, however.
