Summer Kisses Winter Tears Chords & Tabs
Summer Kisses Winter Tears Tab
This is my first chording/tabbing, made because I couldn't find a good one anywhere.
Summer Kisses, Winter Tears
as sung by Elvis Presley
Capo to 3rd fret for original key (A#, I believe)
*((Note, the tabs are not exact, they just enhance the sound of a solo guitar, in my opinion))*
Intro: Am (strum a bit throughout)
e-----------0|----|-----------0|------|
B-----------1|----|-----------1|------|
G-----------2|----|-----------2|------| (the | lines | are just for neatness)
D-----------2|----|-----------2|------|
A----0-3-2-0-|---0|----0-3-2-0-|---0--|
E-0-3-----3--|0-3-|-0-3-----3--|0-3---|
Verse 1:

Verse 4:

Summer kisses, Winter tears
Dm
Like the stars they fade away
Em
Leaving me to spend my lonely nights
Dm C
With dreams of yesterday
Am
Leaving me to spend my lonely nights
G C (mute strings)
With dreams of yesterday
OutroL
Am
Summer kisses, Winter tears (Repeat as desired) (Fade out or play an Am and let it ring)
Cm7 is
e--0--|
B--0--|
G--0--|
D--2--|
A--3--|
E-(3)-|
Thought I'd put that there for if somebody needs it. The rest are (I think) pretty
well-known chords, but didn't know about Cm7.
The tabbed parts are not the exact recording, just "flavor enhancers" for a single
guitarist to make it sound fuller. The chording, though, I am confident in (though I
might've made a mistake somewhere).
Also, try playing the Em on the 3rd line of every verse (not the bridge) like this:
e--3--| (Your pinkey on the 3rd fret of the high e string)
B--0--|
G--0--|
D--2--|
A--2--|
E--0--|
Please comment, telling me what you think, and please feel free to point out things that
I messed up, and I hope that this comes in handy for somebody.
