Artist: Evanescence
Album: Fallen
Song: Whisper
Tabbed by: Chris Engel
Forenote: Okay this songs main riff has supposedly been tabbed out already, but I have seen the other version
and it is quite poorly put together. This is a more complete version of the song. I believe I have included
most if not all guitar parts of the song. I hope this version is more helpful in allowing you to play a great
song from an even greater band. Some parts such as the last part of section B are not exact. The guitarist
plays a weird appregio of some sort, but this variation will suffice.

Then it does the opening riff once, and on to this part.
Now this next part is tricky…It can barely be heard, but with a few neat programs on my computer I was able to
transcribe it. This is not exactly what is played, I’m sure. But it’s as close as anyone’s going to get. Also,
it is play with tons of fuzz and a wah pedal. If you have either you should do just fine.

Above 3x then next bar…All palm-muted. Listen to the track to get the exact beat
Section F
And now the “solo”…I would call this part more of an interlude. It isn’t really a solo but with this type of
music who needs a solo. These tablature is only the chord positions used for the “solo”…in no way does this
tablature imply timing or even strum pattern. Listening to the CD should give you an idea of the timing and
strum pattern.

After the above part play section B’s riff with the first D5 and Bb5 chord silenced.
Then after that just play section E’s riff to the end of the song.
NOTE 1. Each note with "~" beneath it depicts that the note(s) should be strummed more than once, but since
tablature takes up much more space than transcriptions it is more practical to use 'notes'.
That’s about the whole song. If I left out any parts or if you have any suggestions, comments, or questions

Thank you and enjoy.
