Beautiful Things
Words and Music by Lisa Gungor and Michael Gungor
Tabbed By: thebud1
After watching a video of Michael playing this on worship together I decided that
this would be easier played in open D tuning and adapted it to that. This is my
first tab so feel free to comment and I'll fix it if needed.
tuning Open D: D A D F# A D
G A/G D D* Bm7 F#m
D ||--5----5----0----4----0----4-----||
A ||--5----5----0----0----0----4-----||
F#||--5----5----0----3----0----0-----||
D ||--5----7----0----0----0----4-----||
A ||--5----7----0----0----2----0-----||
D ||--5----5----0----0----0----0-----||
note: after the end of first two lines of the chorus he follows the melody. If you
use your pinky and middle finger to play the D* then you can use you first and
ring finger to play this part. Strum the first chord and let it ring while you
pick just the A and D strings as you change the chord.
D ||--4----------------------||
A ||--0----------------------||
F#||--3----------------------||
D ||--0----2----4----2----0--||
A ||--0----0----0----0----0--||
D ||--0----------------------||
