I am a songwriter (or at least like to call myself one) and this is one of the most
heart breakingly poignant songs I have heard in a long time.
Note - the Dm(maj7)-Bmaj7 run during the chorus is just my attempt to include the bass
line run in an acoustic accompaniment. When researching the names for these chords the
chord that I have labeled as Dm(maj7) was also marked as D m7 (which didn't jive with my
understanding of theory and chord building) and as an F6 (which it is, just inverted).
