I love Rock and Roll
Joan Jett
This is a really simple song to play, and very catchy.
I played this with my band at school and everybody loved it.
there are only 3 'chords' used throughout the whole song:
E:022xxx
A:xo22xx
B:x24xxx
each / means one bar, and the commas equal one beat
* means a 'boom' lasting 1 beat
p= palm stop
the intro and chorus are the same.
Intro:
E**,,/E**,,/A**B**/E**,,/E**,,/A**B*E**/,,,,/E** then the guitars play
(well call it riff 1)
e|-------------------|--another guitar plays-|
b|--17-15/12---------|-----------------------|
g|-----------14-12---|-----------------------|
d|-------------------|--2-0------------------|
a|-------------------|------2-0--------------|
E|-------------------|----------3------------|
then the verses go
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/j/jett_joan/i_love_rock_and_roll_tab.html ]
E**,,/E** riff 1/E**,,/B** riff 1/
A**B**/E**A (hold)/,,,,/,,,,/,,,,/,,,,/B****/B****/
then the chorus
E**,,/E**,,/A**B**/E**,,/E**,,/A**B*E**/,,,,/
E** riff 1/
thats pretty much the whole song. it goes in this order:
Intro
Verse 1

Verse 2

Verse 3 (which is only half singing, the rest is a solo which u can
figure out, just play around the E

in the last 2 choruses, one of the guitars plays
e|00000000000 etc...
b|55555555555 etc...

one last thing...in the verse, chorus and intro, theres a little fill
in between the E and A, and the B and E
it goes like
