Artist: Joe Bonamassa
Song: Lonely Town Lonely Street
Lonely Town Lonely Street written by Bill Withers
version by Joe Bonamassa
Originally Tabbed by Andrew Gerber, edited Paul Millband
Cheers to Andrew, but I think it was a tiny bit off on riffs 1&2. This
sounded more accurate/better to me.
Use bar chords. the first finger lays over the 2nd fret anmd only moves left
and right for the chords. use my third finger to bar the 4th fret stuff but thats more up to you
And is best with an electric guitar setting the pick up to 2nd from left
(not fully left to the rythem setting but has a bit of centre pickup too),
the tone setting set relatively high (depending on ythe guitar) and of
course a bit of distortion on the amp. This only my opinion and may be wrong
standard tuning

intro Riff 1 repeated
Riff 1 repeated
You can live your life in a crowded city
You can walk along a crowded street
Riff 2 repeated
But the city really ain't no bigger than the friendly
People, friendly people that you meet
Riff 3 repeated
Friendly people that you meet
Riff 1 repeated
You might be a sweet young, sweet young pretty pretty
And at the dances you can't keep your seat
Riff 2
But if dances don't lead to romances
You might as well be born, born with two left feet
Riff 3 repeated
be born with two left feet
guitar solo---Good Luck!
follow same above riffs for below lyrics
You might be a sweet toned sure nuff high-class talker
You might be a stone, stone expert at kissing
But it don't do too much good to be talkin
Brother, when there ain't no, ain't nobody lis-nin
ain't nobody lis-nin
And if you are shy, just not much of a talker
Don't impress the people that you meet
You might as well be a lonely walker in a lonley town, on a lonely street
on a lonely street
Riff 1 to end of song
