Say - John Mayer
(from the movie "The Bucket List")
Transcribed by: Blue Marimba
Tuning: D-B-G-D-A-E with Capo on 8th Fret
Comments:
This song has a shimmering quality to the notes and chords that is created
by dropping the upper E string by one full step to a D. The recorded version
raises the guitar one half step across all strings which you can avoid by
using a Capo.
Place the Capo on the 8th Fret in order to simplify the fingering of the notes.
With this placement the song uses variations on a D-major chord fingering,
although the actual key of the song is in B-flat. Notes on the eight fret are
open strings.
Chords are shown as actual (top row) versus what's played with the capo (bottom row).
I've added a finger positioning tab in addition to the standard tab notation.
