Here's Keller Williams' cover of Led Zeppelin's Ramble On. This is my first tab, so if
got any suggestions fire away!

Key:

| / slide up
| \ slide down
| h hammer-on
| p pull-off
| ~ vibrato
| + harmonic
| x Mute note

First off, each string is tuned a half step flat. Also, I'll write it out but he's
much just strumming an E flat chord and an A flat seven chord in open position with some
and a couple little licks. Let the strings ring from the chords when you play the licks
and accents and if you're not sure what to do between a few licks just strum a chord a few times.

that's the intro/verse. repeat a few times with minor variations-->hold a note here,
one there, add a slide, you know the drill, just keep things interesting.

then:

|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5-------------------------------|
|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5-------------------------------|
|-1--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-6-------------------------------|
|-2--x-x-x--4-x-6-x-7-------------------------------|
|-2--x-x-x--4-x-6-x-7-------------------------------|
|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5-------------------------------|
                    ^strum chord a few times

|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5\-------------------------------|
|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5\-------------------------------|
|-1--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-6\-------------------------------|
|-2--x-x-x--4-x-6-x-7\-------------------------------|
|-2--x-x-x--4-x-6-x-7\-------------------------------|
|-0--x-x-x--2-x-4-x-5\-------------------------------|

all right, and that's the bridge between the verse and chorus.

for the verse, you'll really just have to listen to what keller's doing. he's pretty
hitting an e flat chord like so:
|-0-
|-0-
|-1-
|-2-
|-2-
|-0-

then he throws in some quick notes, usually a run using the e flat pentatonic scale:

|---------------------0-3-------| as a note, he doesn't use strings 1
|-----------------0-3-----------| and 2 very much, but he's just noodling
|-------------0-2---------------| around with the scale so just make
|---------0-2-------------------| something up as you go along.
|-----0-2-----------------------|
|-0-3---------------------------|

then he hits an A flat 7 chord like so:

|-0-
|-0-
|-2-
|-2-
|-0-
|---

and then he makes up another quick run using the same scale. he also mutes the strings
lot to make a cool syncopated rhythm, it's impossible to write out but knowing the
and notes it's not hard to figure out by ear.
