The sheet music for the vocal parts of this well-known operatic duet was
transcribed directly to guitar.  That is, the tab is one octave below the
vocal music so as to make the highest notes playable.  In order to achieve
some separation of the voices with solo guitar, I've found that it helps to
allow the higher notes to dominate and to roll the cords a bit.  Some of the
indicated pull offs and hammer ons work better than others in simulating the
legato of the haunting voice version.   Experiment and enjoy.
