Bright Blue Rose Chords

BRIGHT BLUE ROSE (Mary Black) Capo 1
----------------
C F
I skimmed across black water, without once submerging
C G
Onto the banks of an urban morning
C F
That hungers the first light, much much more than the
C G C
mountains ever do.
C F
And she like a ghost beside me, goes down with the case

of a dolphin
C G
And emerges unlearned, unshamed, unharmed
C F
For she is perfect creature, natural in every feature
    C Am G C
And I am the geek with the alchemists' stone.

#Chorus#
F G C
For all of you who must discover,
F G C
For all who seek to understand,
F G C
For having left the path of others
Bb F G
You'll find a very special hand.

C F
And it is a holy thing, and it is a precious time
C G
And it is the only way
C F
Forget-me-nots among the snow, it's always been and so

it goes
C Am G C
To ponder his death and his life eternally

#Chorus#
C F
And it is a holy thing, and it is a precious time
C G
And it is the only way
C F
Forget-me-nots among the snow, it's always been and so

it goes
C Am G C
To ponder his death and his life eternally

C
One bright blue rose outlives all those
F
Two thousand years and still it goes
    C Am G C
To ponder his death and his life eternally

I love this song.....timing is difficult.
Capo 1 to tune to CD version of Mary Black.
I made up these chords cos there weren't any to be found
anywhere....only words! Sounds pretty close to my untrained ear.
So I thought I would share them and give back in thanks for all the
wonderful music that has so generously been shared with me.
