WHEN LOVE COMES CLOSE
-Masterplan-
Lyrics & music: Masterplan
From the album: Masterplan
Tabbed by Linus Olsson (Linuso@hotmail.com)
Hello everyone! Masterplan is undoubtely one of the best new bands out there and
this song is their greatest, in my opinion! Jörn Lande is a terrific singer and
Roland Grapow sure knows his guitar work.
Tuning: Standard (EADGBe)
Tab key:
h = hammer on
p = pull off
b = bend
r = release bend
/ = slide up
= slide down
x = mute
~ = vibrato
^ = maximized waah vibrato

If you think this sounds "empty" and lifeless compared to the CD, it's because
the root notes are being played by an organ along with the guitar.

And here is the acoustic part, made up by two guitars playing different riffs:

It might be hard to identify the two acoustic guitars through all the noise,
but it gets much easier on the bridge. Remember to stay twice as long on the
final chord in the second chorus.
Bridge:

The two acoustic guitars play what they do on the chorus, just 1 step higher. You should
now be able to hear which guitar plays what. Also, the bass is taking part in this fusion,
so it might sound a bit different if you play without one.

Guitar Solo:
============
Roland Grapow uses a waah-waah in the solo, which messes up all the notes. That's why
it was difficult to tab. Some notes may be wrong. I apoligize for that.

There you go. As I said, I've probably made a couple of mistakes in the solo, but I'm
100% sure everything else is correct. Also, I didn't bother too much with the timing,
so play along with the CD to get it right.
Enjoy!
