-X on the low E means to slap low E string, or
you can use your fleshy part of the thumb and lightly
thump above the soundhole-
-X's on the GB (and sometimes D string) strings mean
to use your fingernails to hit
those strings to make the noise (preferably middle and
ring fingers)-
-X's around a note mean to strike the note while also
making a percussive effect with the strings. The best
way to do that is to use your index finger (or middle) to
play the
note while the middle and ring create the noise on the
lower strings-
-Bar 28 calls for you to hit the top left of the guitar body
(closest to you) twice, rhythmically, with the fleshy part
of the thumb, and then strum upwards near the bridge,
and finish off with a fisted palm slap on the strings.
-Part G is played using classical style tremolo picking:
use your thumb to hit the bass notes and use your ring,
middle, and index, alternatively, to play triplet notes
following the bass note.
-After playing the harmonics at bar 64, create a dive
sound by
pressing against the back of the guitar neck near the
head (be
careful).
