Just heard this song on the radio and decided to figure out the chords for it. I'm
still a beginner at transcribing and I only spent 15 minutes on it, but I think
it's pretty correct, otherwise feel free to post corrections in the comments.
Chords to use: B, C#m7, D#m7, G#m, F#
You can take the 7-chords and make them regular if you want to, but I think 7-
chords are used in the recording.
B C#m7 D#m7 G#m F# Em
e|7| |4| |6| |4| |2| |7|
b|7| |5| |7| |4| |2| |8|
g|8| |4| |6| |4| |3| |9|
D|9| |6| |8| |6| |4| |9|
A|9| |4| |6| |6| |4| |7|
E|7| |-| |-| |4| |2| |-|
Intro goes
|B|x2 |C#m7|x2
[ Tab from: https://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/m/miguel/do_you_crd_ver_2.html ]
Then there is a break sort of, and one guitar keeps strumming B like in the intro
(except it doesnt switch to C#m7), and another guitar with some sort of flanger on it goes
|B||D#m7| |C#m7|x2
The second time that plays, the ending is different.
|B||D#m7| |C#m7| |C#m7 - D#m7 - Em|
Verse is the same as the intro
|B|x2 |C#m7|x2
Then there is eventually a break with some decending melody (let's dance a little harder)
The chords for this part are
|G#m - G#m - G#m - B - D#m7 - G#m| |F# - F# - F# - C#m7 - G#m - F#|
That whole part plays two times. If you count in double tempo notation is easier:
|G#m| |B - D#m7 - G#m| |F#| |C#m7 - G#m - F#|
After that part has played twice, it ends on
|C#m7| |C#m7 - D#m7|
Hope you enjoy!
And sorry for not posting lyrics to it, I bet you can find those out yourself ;)
If you decide to cover it using this, I would love credit :) hehehe
