This solo mixes mixolydian runs with bluesy and bebop licks, 
over a simple 32-bar progression.  While not being Miles' most 
complex solo, it is a poignantly lyrical one that does not simply 
regurgitate every possible blues cliche possible.  It's important 
to listen to the solo since a lot of the runs are played in 
triplets,  but you'll play those naturally since jazz places emphasis 
on the 2nd and 4th beat of every bar rather than the 1st and 3rd.  
As noted above, this is my interpretation of the piece, and 
I have quite an idiosyncratic style so some of the runs may 
be otherwise difficult to play in the way in which they are 
tabulated here.  If this is the case, you should probably 
find adapting them easy enough to do.  I may attempt to 
notate and play both Trane and Cannonball's solos (which 
follow Miles' solo) one day, but don't be impatient!
