the guitar parts in this song as it is heard on the album, with no omissions.

TUNING: DADGBE 

INTRO

This is the basic form, in reality the strumming is much more syncopated than shown.
You may also wish to hit the low-D and A string's while playing this each chord to
flesh them out.

VERSE

-Uncle Neil uses alternating bass note strumming here, a staple of Folk guitar
playing. I've included strumming direction for clarity. 
-For the second chord (A-Major), either fret the alternative bass note with your
thumb or play the A chord with you 2nd, 3rd and 4th finger and fret the alternative
bass note with your first finger.
-For the G Theme Riff hammer-on, bar the second fret (strings 2,3&4) with your first
finger and hammer on the third fret of the second string with your second finger and
the fourth fret of the third string with your third finger.
