Hello,
I'm just a self-taught guitar player who, like all of you, just want quality, accurate
tabs 'n stuff.
I figure, since the UG community has helped me so much, I'd like to give back.
I don't use a pick when I play. I find that it's easier to weave feelings into the music
with finger strumming
than with using a pick, so riddled throughout the tab, I have suggestions on how to
strum the chords at that
time in the song. The "strum suggestions" section has more of an explanation for the
strum stroke.
Please rate, comment, and enjoy!

(Apply each where noted)
Hard: Strum with pressure. Feel the string. Accentuate each hit. make it LOUD!
Soft: Play like the wind. Like you're trying to calm someone to sleep.
Nail: Put an edge on your strum (I say "nail" because my nails are what strikes the strings)
*Mimics the sound of a pick
Thumb (+ Hard): Use the front of your thumb to strum
*(Thumb nail should be pointing up on the down stroke, but never striking the strings)
Thumb (+ Soft): Use the left side of your thumb to strum
*(Thumb nail should be pointing towards the neck of the guitar, but never
striking the strings)
