Mull Of Kintyre Chords & Tabs
Hey guys, this is the first song i ever learned to play, so you might be able to
imagine that it is very very easy! :)
CAPO IS USUALLY ON 2nd FRET BUT I PLAY ON 4th. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR VOICE. YOU CAN
EASILY PLAY WITHOUT A CAPO!!!
You need to know 2 chords, and for an extra twist you can add a third one. You
need D and G and the optional A chord.
This song is so straight forward! You can play it anyway you like but if you would
like the right technique, which is what Paul himself played/plays, then here you go
IMPORTANT INFO ON STRUMMINGPATTERN RIGHT HERE:::::
You pick the bass string and then you do 2 downstrums. For those of you who are
new to playing, as i was back when i learned this song, the bass string is the
first string in the chord. Example: Bass string of a G Chord is the big E (number
one from the top) while a D chord has the D string (3rd from the top, fourth from
the bottom) as its Bass string.
Just pick that and then you downstrum twice. Really simple.
Here we go. i will put the chords on the first and second verses and choruses and
then you are on your own for the simple reason that the third and final verse is
exactly like the first verse. Good luck and have fun playing this ol' beauty!
BTW!!! I JUST TOOK THE LYRICS FROM SOME LYRIC SITE. I KNOW THEY MIGHT BE WRONG SO
DONT BOTHER WRITING! :)
Intro: D (with the bass string picking i mentioned, as it is in the rest of the
song.. No regular strumming here! :D )
