This one is just a lick I picked up for the verse.  Play it bouncy.

This one is the signature lick.  After it, Trey uses a
turnaround in the E blues scale before repeating the lick again.
S=Slide Up
*Oh yeah, before going into the jam Trey replaces the final 7-7 with
a 9~.  He does this every time to signal the jam.

Here is a turnaround I heard Trey use a few times.  He seems to
just make them up as he goes before returning to the lick.  Anyway,
this is one of the common ones.  This come right after the signature
lick.

This is an intro that I've heard Trey use.
he does this little run before going in to the lick.
Repeat first phrase a few times then....
***=This note is the start of the signature riff.  Listen to a
tape to get the timing right.  It can be a little tricky at first.
Hint....second part of the lick is played real fluid-like and slow.

Well, that's pretty much it.  After the lick just jam in E for a while.
After a long jam Trey funks on E9 before going back in to the main
E-->D Progression.  Once again,  listen to a tape or MP3 to get the
timing right.
