Song: When Your Heart Stops Beating
Album: When Your Heart Stops Beating
My name is Daniel Bourke I've been playing guitar about two and a half years but that
really matter all that much because this is a fairly easy song.
Ok i just got into this song recently and it rocks to play along with the song. I tried
other versions on here and they were pretty close but not as close as i think it can get
Things i noticed were the sound of the intro, in the actual song its obviously mostly
harmonics but the other versions on here have the fretted version of the harmonic notes
Also during the verse they tabbed it out as strumming three power chords but i think its
6 because there are pull offs on each chord which makes a new power chord on every pull off
when you play it. The timing isnt exact but its not hard to work out if you can listen to the song.
Enjoi.
Standard Tuning
LEGEND:
*#* = Natural Harmonic (Number between stars is the number you hit above
without pushing the fret down, lightly touch your finger over it
and strum to make a natural harmonic)
~ = Let the note ring appropriate length
(3333) = Bass fill/Bass plays this note but is optional on guitar
R = Rest/Pause for a moment
Intro: Played 2 times

Main Riff: Played twice during intro then 4 times during verse
**NOTE: I think the main riff is slightly palm muted on every up or downstroke, just
though kind of for a delay kind of feel, or else they may be using a chorus or delay pedal/effect**
