The numbers with a * behind indicate where you hit the natural harmonic.
You have to achieve the bending effect by hitting it as a normal natural
harmonic and then gently add pressure on your finger and bend the string in
the direction of the high D string. If you don't manage to get the sound, try to
place the side of your finger against the fret. This helps, too.
Hitting the string hard, so it vibrates a lot, also helps.
