I stumbled across the riff, or a simple version of it which I thought sounded reasonably
although it is just the first bit which
runs through the verse.
I couldn't quite get the rest, but I figured it was better than nothing.

That’s as far as I could get with the lead guitar,
but the second guitar(which when Morrissey played the song on recent tours appeared to
an acoustic played by Boz Boorer) and these are the chords,
if you know the song or see the live rendition you can get the hang of it.
Alternatively, you can capo at FOURTH fret and play the chords as put in brackets above
barred version.
