SongTitle: Never Let You Go
Tabs: Never Let You Go, by Third Eye Blind, transcribed by Matt
Veneklase.
I know this has already been tabbed out three times but none
of them have been completely accurate or even complete. I tried
to put as much information into this as possible; since its hard
to figure out timing from tab I include the counting above the tab.
If you compare this to the CD it is very accurate, so please do
before e-mailing me with any corrections.
x= play muted string.
\= slide down.
/= slide up.
()= These have two meanings:
9/(11)= don't pick the 11 after sliding up from 9.
9 (9)= pick 1st note and let it sustain through
the beat where it appears again in ().
Chords used:
E5- x79xxx, xx99xx
B5- 79xxxx, x99xxx
A5- 57xxxx
C5- x1111xxxx
(that's 2 11's)
This song is in the key of E. The main riff is a I-V-IV progression
using power chords (5th intervals). It needs two guitars. In this
tab Guitar One has single coils and some distortion; Guitar Two has
humbuckers and heavy distortion.

Guitar 1: Part 5:
Neck single coil.
To play this real smooth, barr the A and E strings
at the 7th fret with your index finger. Place your ring
finger at the 9th fret on the A string, and your pinky (pimky
is a funny word) at the 9th fret on the D string. To change
chords just lift up your ring finger.

The lyrics are inside the CD cover and the last person to submit
a tab of this include them. They're really easy to understand anyway.
